Miss K. Von Spun has taken the pinup world by storm with numerous publications under her belt including most every kar kulture mag out there. Meet Rod Authority’s May Babe Of The Month.

͛K’s most recent appearances include hosting the Miss Grand National Roadster Show Trophy Girl Contest at the Pomona Fairplex last January, along with hosting the upcoming Bombs Car Show at the Automobile Driving Museum this month. K. Von Spun shows off her talent and charm in a variety of other pinup shoots including a few road trips up north to the Bay area and the Portland Roadster Show.

How did you get into pin-up modeling: Ive always loved old Hollywood fashion and have been modeling for about 15 years so after working with a former client on pinup styled look books, I began to feel more comfortable embracing the lifestyle. After all, car shows have always been one of my favorite summer activities.

What was your first pinup photo shoot: “An Atomic Christmas” theme photo shoot I did in December, 2014 which was my first official pinup publication.

What was the last car show you attended: Portland Roadster Show

Tell me about the upcoming pinup contest you will be hosting: I have the honor of hosting the a car show on May 19th. The Automobile Driving Museum happens to be one of my favorite car museums in LA due to their gorgeous collection of classics and the multiple exhibits and events year round.

What was the last pinup contest you entered: The last Pinup contest I entered, I had the honor of winning the title of 2018 Miss Sacramento AUTORAMA.

Any upcoming car show plans: I will most definitely be at both upcoming BOMBS Magazine Car show in May and the Super show in August, I am also making the effort of going to Mooneye’s Japan in December.

What is your favorite car show and why: I would definitely say the Grand Daddy of them all, the Grand National Roadster Show! Not only because it is the largest indoor show that showcases “Americas Most Beautiful Roadsters, ” but because it was my first and biggest accomplishments as a pinup role model of being crowned the GNRS Trophy Queen in January of 2016.

Tell us about your recent travel Adventures: For the past two months I have been traveling the west coast exploring the all the beauty Mother Nature has to offer. 

Any upcoming travel plans: Making it out to Mooneyes Japan.

What is your favorite classic car: Ive always liked the ’55 Cadillac Fleetwood, but I have a new found love and appreciation for Model As and Model Ts as well as for custom hot rods.

Have you ever owned a classic car: I used to own a 1986 VW Cabriolet collector’s edition and had a connection to it because it was my birth year.

Who is your favorite Pinup model and why? I can’t say I have a favorite pinup model, just all past old Hollywood models and actresses.  A huge inspiration to me!  I particularly admire the stunning Rita Hayworth.

What’s your favorite time period: Definitely retro ’60s home decor and I love and collect ’40s through ’70s fashion.

Who’s your biggest inspiration when it comes to your pin up style: The ever so creative and inspirational Rockwell De Vil.

Describe your pin up style: definitely would have to say ’40s vintage to retro MOD.

What’s your favorite Tiki Bar: Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar in Anaheim, CA

What’s your favorite holiday and why: Halloween, the fun of costumes and creativity!!!
