How Did You Get Into Pinup Modeling?

After leaving my ex of 12 years, I wanted to do something for myself. I felt at an all time low without much self-confidence.  Then I remembered seeing my mother in all her beautiful pictures of when she was young and how confident she was. I wanted to be that strong beautiful women, so I could show my daughter no matter what you’ve been though you can become that strong beautiful person again.

What Has Been Your Favorite Photo Shoot So Far and Why?

My favorite shoot so far was my first with Mitzi and Co., with Rockwell doing my makeup.  It was freezing in February and I had to wear this itty bitty suit, and then it just clicked, “Be fierce.”  The cold can’t beat me and it was the most fun ever! We joked with Scotty and the other boys and were on a Swedish documentary!That day I found my niche, with Mitzi and friends I could be me anywhere, and the cold was not going to get in my way!

Any Upcoming Photo Shoots Planned?

I plan to shoot with Mitzi in August at the Rattletrap Car Show hosted by my favorite car club the South of Heaven Filthies.

Where Have You Been Published?

I’ve been in Mitzi & Co. Calendar 2015 and 2018 edition. I’ve also been in the Marilee Caruso calendar 2014 and 2015, and Marilee’s Modern Vintage Pinup. Another one is the Alameda Bars and Cars calendar for the 2015 and 2016 editions. Retro Lovely issues 9 and 11, Perv Pics by Tragic Glamour, and Car Kulture Deluxe are also publications I’ve been involved with.

What Was The First Car Show You Attended And Tell Us About Your Experience?

The first car show was Sacramento Autorama where I entered my first pin up contest.  I was super scared and did not know what to expect. This was the year I made so many amazing friends and now they are my best friends for life. It takes a lot of power to go on stage and be judged by other people. I fell in love with so many immaculate cars, people, and had a hell of a time!

Do You Have a Favorite Car Show You Like To Attend?

Sacramento Autorama! It’s where it all started, and I try to go every year. It has a special space in my heart filled with beautiful people and beautiful cars. What more could a girl ask for?

What Do You Enjoy Most About Entering Pinup Contests?

The gorgeous ladies for sure! I love seeing everyone all dolled up, what clothes they bought, how they do their hair and makeup and just hearing all their stories. The girls that go on stage are usually some bad ass women! It takes courage and strength to go up there, so I really look up to everyone who even takes a step on stage.

You Recently Won A Title? Tell Us About That

I won Miss Autorama 2016 It was so exhilarating. I had no idea I was going to win or even place, I just went up there and had a ball. I think everyone could see how much fun I was having and that’s what they saw the fun, goofy, Kimmie!  I then had the privilege to hand out all the awards to the winners that year which was even more exciting. To see some of these guys smiles and knowing that their hard work paid off made my month!

Who’s Your Favorite Pinup Model And Why? 

My favorite pinup model still is B. Sinclair she is my gelfling.  She took me in instantly under her wing and showed me what a beautiful, funny, all around good person she is.  She started Bombshells Against Bullying which really inspired me to fight against bullying even more.  At the time my daughter was going through this in middle school, and it just helped me know that we all go through it, and we need to fight it.

Any Upcoming Travel Plans?

New York in June, San Diego in July, and hopefully Japan for Mooneyes in December! I also love going on cruises, hopefully I’ll be going on one soon. It’s constant drinks, comedy shows and all you can eat food. Who would turn that down?

Describe Your Perfect Date

My perfect date would be a nice view, with a beer and good company. I love being on the beach near my house and enjoying time with my boyfriend. It is simple yet beautiful and the little moments are what bring us closer together. Dates are about getting to really know someone for who they really are, so nothing to glamorous. However, I never mind the glamour.

What Are Some Things You Are Passionate About

My daughter and giving women equal opportunity to do what they put their mind to. I believe all women are confident in their own ways and sometimes need to find a platform to let it shine.

What Do You Enjoy Doing On Your Free Time

Watch the Warriors basketball, dance, and go to tea. I also enjoy spending time with my family and doing the small things whether it is going out to dinner on a Saturday night to spending time at home watching T.V.

Favorite Food And Place To Eat

House of Prime Rib is my favorite place and I always get the biggest cut of prime rib. If you get the biggest cut of prime rib and finish it, you get a free one. (I always get a free one)

Favorite Music To Dance To

I love dancing to Oldies and Reggae music. I love Island Reggae because it gets everyone is a positive mood and the music is about spreading love to everyone.
