SEMA 2016: VP Racing Fuels Adds Racing Oil Line

VP Racing Fuels has been in the business of developing race fuels for over 40 years and has long been considered a market leader and industry bar setter. Their engineers and chemists are always hard at work looking for any possible edge to further improve the formulations and expand the product line.

At the 2016 SEMA Show, we stopped by the VP Racing booth and spoke to the company’s lubricant sales manager, Richard Glady, to learn more of the newly released line from VP Racing Lubricants.

“We’ve partnered with a leading additive and supply company to produce high quality formulations using a select mixture of synthetic base oils designed to our specific requirements,” explains Glady. “Our professional line of lubricants includes 2,000 ppm zinc, 1,800 ppm phosphorous, as well as additional anti-wear additives, which reduce friction and heat produced within the oil.”

The new lubricants will include several new lubricant products, including VP’s high zinc professional grade synthetic race oil available in SAE 0W-20, 5W-30, 10W-40 and 15W-50; VP Hi-Performance synthetic blend oil designed for both street builds and track monsters, available in SAE 10W-30, 10W-40 and 20W-50; VP break-in oil which features a blend of high quality conventional oil base stocks, zinc and moly for the best protection for flat tappet, roller cam, pushrods, cylinder walls, cam gears, pistons and other critical components during break-in.

Be sure to also check out VP’s line of assembly lube, SAE 80W-90LS high-performance gear oil, and SAE 75W-90LS high-performance gear oil for the ultimate protection where you need it most.
