Are you building a classic truck into a primo show rig or pavement pounding autocross machine? No matter which way you are going with the build on your classic pickup, Currie Enterprises can support your efforts in a big way. The expert axle designers and builders at Currie Enterprises have been building custom and crate front and rear axles to fit every kind of motor vehicle from off-road racing trucks, rock racing rigs and hardcore 4×4 trail rigs to race cars, custom cars, hot rods and trick trucks for decades.
They offer a wide variety of rear ends for the custom truck builder to use when creating his or her awesome off-roader, autocross rig or show classic, ranging from the popular super heavy duty F9 axles with a fabricated housing center featuring a 3/16-inch thick steel body, a 3/8-inch thick steel third member mounting face, 3-1/4-inch by 1/4-inch wall tubes. Those can also be gusseted outside with heavy duty steel flanges and the bulkheads welded inside the housing center to tie the face, body and the inner ends of the tubes all together. Heavy duty!
The company also offers the 9-Plus round back style heavy duty housing featuring a new reproduction stamped 23-inch housing center with the completely smooth round back style rear cover, 3-inch by .188-inch wall tubes, and small, early large, or late style large bearing housing ends. They are custom built and MIG welded to customer width and pinion offset specs, and come with third member studs installed, and the third member gasket, nut and washer kit.
As well, the company offers a 9-inch axle with the Currie 206T6 cast aluminum housing with fins that is popular with hot rodders, and it also works well with light duty trucks. This is a very dense grade of aluminum that polishes up beautifully, and Currie offers this polishing service in-house.
