This wicked ’61 Chevy Parkwood wagon we found on eBay would make a real cool everyday driver. This wagon really caught our eye, because of its custom upgrades and its ability to take the whole family cruising. With the surplus of popular two-door coupe’s and desirable body styles diminishing, wagons are starting to show up everywhere.

There was a time when these four-door behemoths were frowned upon, they have since become well sought after, and are now considered very cool rides. We have seen everything from SS Chevelle wagon tribute cars, cloned Plymouth Satellite wagons transformed to look like Roadrunners, and even pro-street drag cars in station wagon form.

The present owner of this 61 Chevy wagon decided it’s time for new projects so he put it up on eBay hoping it will find a new home. The car has been tastefully done with a new interior from Cars Inc which includes new door panels, seat covers, carpets, weatherstripping and headliner. In the engine compartment sits a totally rebuilt 170 hp 283ci engine with Edelbrock carburetor, camshaft, and intake manifold. The engine bay was restored and painted with Eastwood’s chassis black paint on the frame and fender wells.

Now this is one clean cruiser!

In the suspension department, the car has Air Ride Technologies Front and Rear Suspension System. A pair of Fat Man Fabrications 2 inch drop spindles and a Master Brakes disc brake conversion top it off. With this being a California car, it came from the factory with seamless bumpers, meaning the front and rear bumpers are both one-piece design, instead of the conventional three-piece bumpers, which provide a smooth a look.

The body itself is been restored nicely and finished off in DuPont base coat clearcoat paint. The headlight bezels, tail lamp bezels, and all the emblems have been replaced. This custom Chevy wagon is restored and ready for its new owner, who knows it could be you!
