We found this really cool Corvette on eBay and had to show you. Its a ’60 painted Tuxedo Black, but the really cool thing is its done on the old gasser theme. We know all the purist are saying,”Who would cut up such a rare classic ‘Vette?” We can’t tell you for certain is whether it was or wasn’t a numbers matching complete car before the build, but we can tell you it is very tastefully done and well thought out, and it clearly didn’t break the bank to build it.

This is a driver about 80-percent complete with a real old school look to it. This ’60 Corvette was a frame-off restoration with a real tilt front nose, an Engine Shop-built 383 stroker Chevy small block in it cranking out 525 ponies thanks to a tunnel ram and dual fours that was just broken in and runs great. It also has a Turbo 350 trans with a mild stall converter connected to a Ford 9″ rear.

Coil-overs and disc brakes at all four corners make the ride smooth (for a gasser), while the factory red carpet and door panels make the cabin plush. New headlights, wiring, brake lights, gauges, and turn signals total out the project.

One of the best things about this car is that its one you can own it for thousands less than a numbers matching ‘Vette, and this one you can drive all over the place and not worry about parking it as if it was a $100k dollar car you have to babysit. It comes with another set of wheels with slicks, and complete new red carpets and black diamond pleated seats. This ‘Vette wasn’t just thrown together either, its a frame off build, and it could be in your driveway just in time for Summer.
