The Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles has decided to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of hot rodding’s most popular car, the 1932 Ford, with “Deuce Week” in March 2012. Guests at the museum will be able to attend a wide range of events, from an all Deuce cars show, to a rock concert, and a roundtable discussion of celebrity panelists on “The Past, Present, and Future of Hot Rodding”. Noted panelists will include Troy Ladd (Hollywood HotRods), Chip Foose (Foose Design), Dave Lane (FastLane Rod Shop), and Andy “The Rodfather” Brizio. All proceeds raised during Deuce Week will help fund educational programs and exhibits at the Petersen Automotive Museum.
In addition to the events, historic 1932 Fords will be on exhibition inside the Petersen from February 29, 2012 through March 25, 2012. Guests will also have the opportunity to see 1932 Ford pedal cars customized by nine of the top hot rod shops in the country.
To top it all off, we received word from our pals at the Jalopy Journal that they have two tickets to give away for the Deuce Week Celebration concert on March 2, and to enter you’ll simply need to visit their website and leave a up to three replies on their show post. On Feb 1 they’ll randonly select a number to choose the winner!
