Motor Union is unique as far as events go, in that there really isn’t any stringent criteria regarding the type or style of builds that are invited to attend. Basically, you just have to have a righteous car and show up! That being the case, the mix of vehicles in attendance at the Motor Union show is incredibly varied. While “stanced” imports seem to be in the majority, an increasing number of classic American steel in attendance indicates that the variation of styles will only continue to expand.

Put on by 5&A Dime Clothing, the event continues to gain momentum and get bigger and better every year. Hosted annually at the tail end of the summer in San Diego, the show draws a diverse crowd from all over Southern California. You’re not likely to find another event in the the lower part of Cali with the eclectic mix of quality rides that can be found at Motor Union. Did we mention that MU also includes a kickass bike show? Because it does!

The goal of the show since its inception was to bring gear heads together. No bs, no ego, just a group of enthusiasts with a love and appreciation for all things mechanical. This show does that and more. Rod Authority has been keeping an eye on the Motor Union and it shows no sign of slowing down! It can only get better from here.

The diversity and reputation of the show’s sponsors speak volumes alone; StanceWorks, Falken Tire, HRE Wheels, just to name a few. And while a date has not been set for this year’s event, you can bet that the 5th Annual Motor Union will be held in beautiful San Diego towards the end of the summer.
