On Sunday, August 17th Cerritos College in Norwalk, California will be teaming up with JR Entertainment for the Cerritos College Custom Car Show and Concert. The event is a benefit fundraiser for the Cerritos College football program.

Ron Velasquez of JR Entertainment told Rod Authority, “We are raising money to assist students currently enrolled in the Golden Helmet Football program. All proceeds will be given to the Cerritos College Coach for distribution.”

The event will run from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is located at 11110 Alondra Boulevard, Norwalk, California. Roll-in time for event participants is scheduled from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. According to the event flyer “overnight parking is available between 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. on August 16th with security and locked gates.

Pre-registration for the event must be in by August 11th. You can print and mail the event flyer on this article for your convenience. Mail out your registration to: JR Entertainment P.O. Box 24 Bellflower, California 90706. The 1st 100 pre-registered vehicles will receive a free event t-shirt, so act now! Pre-registration for show cars, trucks, and motorcycles is $25.00 and $30.00 day-of.

1st and 2nd place trophies are to be awarded for 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and up. This is a great event open to all years, makes, and models. From bombs and lowriders to imports and lead sleds–bring them out!

There’s something truly special about all-comers events. It is a rare chance to talk shop with guys from all different walks of the car, truck, and bike world.
