Grab your Ray Bans, sport coat, and flipflops, it’s time for the Goodguys Rod and Custom Association 2nd Annual Florida Nationals! Last year’s inaugural event was a huge success so it’s back for more. April 24-26, 2015, more than 1,500 of the region’s best cars will park together at the Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, Florida.
The show is open to all hot rods, customs, and vintage vehicles up to 1972 as well as any vehicle American made or powered from any year. This event will be feature packed! Vendors and manufacturers from all over the nation will set up booths for attendees to visit. The Goodguys AutoCross will pit drivers’ best times up against each other for bragging rights and The Ives Brother’s will spin their Harley Davidson motorcycles around the Wall of Death for all to see.
The 2nd Florida Nationals will have all the incredible Goodguys event staples. The big swap meet for hard to find parts, the AutoTrader Classic Cars 4 Sale Corral to find that new project and the Goodgal Arts and Crafts Gallery. Kids get some special attention too with the Revell Model Car Make n’ Take, PPG Kids Coloring Contest, clowns, and more.
The weekend will get kicked off on Thursday night at 4 p.m. with a big party in Old Town Kissimmee where there are lots of places to grub, places to shop, and places to play. Some of the special awards that will be given out to the top cars in the groups are Mighty Muscle, presented by Eddie Motorsports, Homebuilt Heaven, presented by Speedway Motors, and Modern Machines for 1973 and later models.
