Are you looking for a reason to get out of the house this Thanksgiving weekend? Want to end the 2014 show season with a bang? Well, you’re in luck because Houston’s Annual O’Reilly AutoRama will be kicking off on Thanksgiving to celebrate its 55th year this holiday season!

The 55th annual Houston AutoRama will take place at the George R. Brown Convention Center this November, running from 3:00 p.m. Thanksgiving (November 27th) through 6:00 p.m. Sunday, November 30th. General admission for the event is $18.00 with discount tickets available at local O’Reilly Auto Parts stores.

Those attending the show can expect to see the special Lowrider Nation exhibit with a chance to meet Lowrider Magazine editor Joe Ray and a number of Lowrider models, two days of collector car auctions, a special Friday and Saturday Cruise-In, the Street Trucks Magazine Shootout, AutoRama 1960 Ol’ Skool Rods display, and live music.

There will also be an automotive swap meet, toyarama, pinup girl contest, and Women’s World arts and crafts display and shopping area.

Gene Winfield’s Chop Shop will also be on display at the event, which is a one-of-a-kind display that recreates Winfield’s All-American Chop Shop with the main man himself chopping cars, bending metal, and putting on demonstrations all weekend.

In addition to Winfield, the AutoRama will host celebrity guests WWE superstar “BIG Show”, Overhaulin’s Arianny Celeste, Discovery Channel’s Street Outlaws stars Shawn Whitley “Farmtruck” and Jeff Bonnett “AZN”, and Disney Channel’s Peyton List, star of Jessie.

We all love the hot rod show season and hate to see it end, but what better way to celebrate the year with family and friends than to attend the annual Houston AutoRama this Thanksgiving?
