The International Show Car Association (ISCA) is proud to present the “ISCA Pick” award recipients from the Northeast Street Rod Nationals Plus hosted by the National Street Rod Association (NSRA) on September 19 – 21, 2014. Held at the Champlain Valley Exposition in Vermont, these award winners competed against thousands of incredible cars.
The winners are:
Dennis Jean of Granby, Quebec, Canada and his green flamed 1932 Ford Coupe.
Geroge Pezoulas of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and his gorgeous red 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air.
The ISCA formed in 1963 and was designed to work with show promoters and hosts to act as a sanctioning body for competition. Made up of producer members, who host the indoor custom car shows; Judges, who judge the vehicles and determine where a vehicle places in its respective class; and exhibitors, who show their vehicles and compete at ISCA-sanctioned indoor events. The ISCA supervises the competition, the judging staff, keeps track of exhibitor points, and manages the series championship for final year end awards.
The ISCA uses over 350 vehicle classifications so as to cover just about every type of hot rod, custom truck, street rod, bikes, sports cars, and vintage restorations. Award cash prizes average around $10,000 and total up to more than $750,000 through the year. The ISCA and NSRA collaborate on every NSRA event through the year which gives top car builders and owners the opportunity at big recognition and money no matter what state they are in.
