It wasn’t too long ago that we welcomed Factory Five Racing into our growing family here at Rod Authority, but the company has actually been going strong since 1995, offering quality kit car options to the automotive market since. Factory Five’s dedication to giving their customers not only a solid product but also one backed by quality service and principles has launched the company into a leadership position in the industry.

But that’s not the only thing that Factory Five’s dedication has given them. The company’s offerings have also won Factory Five plenty of awards along the way, including their third Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) award given to the company this year by the Association of Handcrafted Automobiles (AHA). Congratulations goes out to Factory Five Racing for adding this to their growing number of accomplishments. This recognition is well deserved.

The AHA has been giving the GMP award to notable handcrafted automobile companies since 1984. This award recognizes companies that exemplify product quality, service and integrity in the kit car industry.

As one of the leaders in kit car design and manufacturing, Factory Five has won this award three times now, first being given the honor in 2004 and then again in 2010.

While attending the 33rd Annual Handcrafted Auto Show put on by the AHA in Pomona, California on April 14th this year, Factory Five was given the award again, making them the first company to ever receive the award three times.

Factory Five has a number of awards on display at their headquarters in Wareham, Massachusetts, which they are rightfully very proud of. The company’s third GMP award will fit in quite well.

Again, congratulations goes out to Factory Five Racing for receiving this award once again and we look forward to seeing the company continued to be honored for their dedication to the automotive and kit car industries in the future.
