The Ford Highboy has been a staple in the hot rod world since its beginning. These two-seater roadsters can be customized in a variety of ways to make your hotrodding experience exactly how you want it. Recently, a Highboy with a brand new body was added to the line up for the Mecum Daytime Auction. With plenty of time left in the summer, this little Deuce is sure to get loads of attention when driven by its new owner.

This Highboy was created using a Brookville All Steel Deuce reproduction body. Although the body is brand new, the Highboy retains its original stroked V8, flathead engine. This engine is complete with Offenhauser heads and triple Stromberg carburetors.

The Hi-Boy also comes with a five speed transmission. To complete the Hi-Boy field, the roadster is equipped with a billet banjo steering wheel, tuck-and-roll upholstery and classic instrument gauge pod. Painted Candy Red, the Highboy is finished off with a chopped windshield, custom headlights and chrome rims.

If you’re looking for a classic hot rod to take to shows and cruise around town in, this Highboy will definitely do the trick. It will be auctioned off at the Daytime Auction in Monterey, California on Saturday August 20th.

As part of the select group of cars from the Harold R. Wing Collection being auctioned off, the Highboy will cross the auction block at 3:20p.m. We look forward to seeing this roadster participating in events in the near future with its new owner!
