As a well-known, nationwide hot rod association, the Goodguys Rod & Custom organization has garnered a reputation for bringing together the best of the best. Their judges and venues are top notch, and the awards given out on an annual basis are highly prized. Also prized; their annual car and truck giveways, for Goodguys also attracts world-class designers, giving fans a chance to vote on the vehicle they’d like to win.
This year they are getting ready for the 2014 contest, which will be based on a 1967-73 Chevy C10 pickup. Goodguys has put up the finalists for our viewing pleasure, and is asking you to vote on your favorite project. The winner will actually be brought to life and given away, per Goodguys tradition. We’ve got the entire gallery below!
The designs that made it to the finals range from mild to wild, drawing on modern and classic influences alike. The C/28 certainly caught our eye for its Camaro Z/28 styling and bold orange-and-white color choice. You can see it below in the gallery. Yet there is something appealing about the turquoise simplicity of the Bad Mojo truck and the modern futurism of the orange-clad Cameo.
Not that we are endorsing any of these trucks mind you. We are just as torn as you are as to which vehicle we’d like to see brought to life and maybe even win. Click this link to cast your vote, and let us know in the comments section who you voted for, and which truck you bet will end up winning (they need not be the same…).
