Whether you’re an avid news watcher or just a concerned citizen, you’ve undoubtedly heard about the affects of Hurricane Harvey making landfall in the Houston, Texas area. While the country scrambles to help the victims of this natural disaster, more and more companies and organizations are coming forward to raise money for the hurricane relief, including the Goodguys Rod and Custom Association.
Today Goodguys launched an initiative called “Rodders Helping Houston” to raise money for the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund. Below we’ve included the press release, which includes a link to donate.
Our thoughts are with all of those affected by Hurricane Harvey and the countless individuals and organizations that have come together to help out their fellow community members.
RODDERS HELPING HOUSTON FUND ESTABLISHED
Pleasanton, CA 8/31/17 – An American tragedy has been unfolding in recent days which has lit a fire in the close knit hot rodding community. With Hurricane Harvey devastating the city of Houston and its communities, hot rodders worldwide are taking action.
Rodder’s Helping Houston, a hi-octane fundraising campaign was launched today in California with the aim of fueling the Houston flood relief effort. The money raised through the Rodders Helping Houston Youcaring.com page will go directly to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund.
Car guys and gals around the world are urged to do what they can to help rebuild the lives of those in the city of Houston who need it most.
