Its almost time again for one of the largest custom car events on the East coast. The 21st annual New England Summer Nationals and it all happens July 1st through the 3rd in Worcester, Massachusetts.
The City of Worcester caters to over 3,000 hot rods , muscle cars, and street rods from all over New England. With one of the largest car shows taking place at Green Hill Park, it includes a vendor’s midway, and a burnout competition.
Besides the huge show in the park, there are plenty of activities for everyone, including helicopter rides, monster truck rides, and even a Miss Summer Nationals Pageant as well as a visit from Playboy Playmate of the Year, Claire Sinclair.
When the end of the day comes near, they move the action to downtown Worcester, for an evening of cruising and wild entertainment.
First off, you can cruise all weekend with open exhaust without getting a ticket and with the night comes burnouts, flame throwers, a stunt motorcycle show, and lots of food to eat. It is like you get to relive American Graffiti all over again.
