New from Classic Industries – door latches and strikers for Tri-Fives, Impalas, and more. Developed by OER, these units restore successful door-closing operation to these classic Bowtie machines. See more details below.
Official Release:
After many decades of daily operation, the door latches and strikers found in many classic vehicles have a tendency to wear out. When these components are worn down, it can result in doors that don’t open and close smoothly and securely as GM engineers intended. Classic Industries is glad to provide a solution for 1955-57 Tri-Five Chevy and 1958-60 Impala/Full Size model owners: brand new reproduction door latch striker plates and latches.
The door latch striker plates from OER® fit both front and rear doors, ensuring all doors shut tightly and stay closed. OER’s striker plates have been designed to accurately replicate the original GM parts found on Chevrolet 150, 210, Bel Air, Impala and Full Size models. In addition, reproduction door latches are offered for both 1955 and 1956-57 2-door Chevy models. These latches feature an original-style durable stamped steel construction, and also help ensure the smooth operation of the doors on these Tri-Five models.
