Finally. No more haunting junkyards or scouring the internet looking for restorable, overpriced 1955-1956 Chevy two-door model front seats. Real Deal Steel offers complete steel reproductions of the original seat assembly for all 1955 and 1956 two-door models – two-door sedans, two-door hardtops, convertibles, two-door wagons and Nomads. These seats also fit similar 1957 models, but will not work with stock 1957 upholstery.

These seats are in stock, ready to ship and include complete seat back frames and springs, both seat tracks, both lower side-shell brackets, center pivot cover, four seat-back stops and hardware. Seat side shells are not included, but are available. Real Deal Steel produces all-steel reproduction bodies for American Classics from the Forties, Fifties and Sixties: 1940 Ford five-window coupes, 1955-1957 Chevys, 1967-1969 Camaros and Firebirds and 1966-1967 Chevy II Nova two-door hardtops. Ford bodies are licensed by Ford Motor Company and Chevrolet bodies are licensed by GM.

The bodies are assembled in Sanford, FL, from high quality steel structural components to exact factory specifications on Real Deal Steel’s proprietary assembly fixtures that guarantee exact factory-spec fit every time. All structural and skin assembly utilizes water-cooled 220V resistance spot welders – the same technology used in much-larger automotive assembly plants. Real Deal Steel generally uses 25 percent more spot welds than original to give the bodies added strength.

In addition to factory-original bodies, Real Deal Steel also offers modification options such as customized firewalls and mini-tub wheel housings, in addition to a wide selection of individual steel panels for American classics.
