Heatshield Products Introduces db Stealth Armor

New from Heatshield Products – the db Stealth Armor. This shield is designed to keep heat and sound out of the interior with a single, easy-to-install product. See more details below.

Official Release:

Heat-barrier products are often not very good at reducing unwanted sound, and sound barriers typically do not make effective heat barriers. However, db Stealth Shield from Heatshield Products was designed to do both: keep heat and sound out of the interior with a single, easy-to-install product.

db Stealth Armor incorporates the thermal-barrier capabilities of the HP Stealth Shield and acoustic damping properties of db Armor, also from Heatshield Products. This means that db Stealth Armor can withstand a continuous 1,800 degrees F of heat. It is also nearly double the effectiveness of the leading acoustic damping product when it comes to blocking harmonic resonances and noise. Even with its dual capability, db Stealth Armor is only .176-inch thick, so it can fit underneath carpet without causing fitment issues, can be easily molded to fit contours in a vehicle floor and weighs a meager .652 pounds per square foot. It also will not add unnecessary dead weight to the vehicle.

There are no messy adhesive sprays or dispensers, thanks to an adhesive backing that’s integrated into db Stealth Armor.

Heatshield Products has engineered and manufactured heat-barrier products for more than 30 years, serving the performance and racing industry with the highest quality products at competitive prices. The company is family owned and operated, and is proud to make its products in the USA.

Features:

  • A thermal barrier and acoustic damper, all in one product
  • Adhesive backing makes installation quick
  • Easy shaping and trimming to fit a variety of interior surfaces
  • Made in the USA
