New Disc Brake Kits For ’49-’54 Chevys From Wilwood

Wilwood is now offering two brake kits for ’49-’54 Chevrolet vehicles. One kit features 11″ rotors with the Dynalite calipers that allow for the use of aftermarket 14″ wheels, while the other kit features Dynalite calipers and 12.19″ rotors for use with 15″ or larger diameter wheels.

Wilwood Engineering has just released two new front disc brake kits for ‘49-’54 Chevys. The part number 140-11811 front brake kit features Dynalite calipers and 11-inch rotors that allow the use of aftermarket 14-inch wheels to retain the appearance of a restored Chevy. The part number 140-11812 front brake kit features Dynalite calipers and 12.19-inch rotors that can be used with cars running 15-inch or larger custom wheels. Both kits can offer a restored appearance while providing the enhanced stopping ability of disc brakes for driving safety. Both kits feature aluminum hub assemblies, Forged Dynalite calipers, aluminum rotor adapter plates, vented rotors in an 11 or 12.19-inch size, caliper brackets, BP-10 Smart pads and all of the hardware required to finish the installation. The kits can be ordered with black or red calipers with standard or drilled and slotted rotors.
