realdealsteel_1 [1]

New from Real Deal Steel [2] – stainless steel windshield corners for Tri-5 applications. These pieces are show-quality stainless steel reproductions of the original pieces ready for your restoration. See more details below.

Official Release:

For years, used but restorable ’55-’57 Chevy window trim stainless was plentiful in junkyards and at swap meets. Eventual reproduction pieces are now on the market, but windshield corner stainless was always one of the hardest to find pieces.

Until now. Real Deal Steel offers show-quality stainless steel reproductions of the original pieces. The new pieces fit all 210 and Bel Air models and Nomads, but not convertibles.

The new corners also fit 1955-1957 Pontiac Catalina models, including wagons, Safaris, sedans and coupes, but not convertibles.

Both sides are available and ready to ship.

Real Deal Steel produces all-steel reproduction bodies for American Classics from the Forties, Fifties and Sixties: 1940 Ford five-window coupes, 1955-1957 Chevys, 1967-1969 Camaros and Firebirds and 1966-1967 Chevy II Nova two-door hardtops. Ford bodies are licensed by Ford Motor Company and Chevrolet bodies are licensed by GM.

The bodies are assembled in Sanford, FL, from high quality steel structural components to exact factory specifications on Real Deal Steel’s proprietary assembly fixtures that guarantee exact factory-spec fit every time.

All structural and skin assembly utilizes water-cooled 220V resistance spot welders – the same technology used in much-larger automotive assembly plants. Real Deal Steel generally uses 25 percent more spot welds than original to give the bodies added strength.

In addition to factory-original bodies, Real Deal Steel also offers modification options such as customized firewalls and mini-tub wheel housings, in addition to a wide selection of individual steel panels for American classics.
