Currie Enterprises has been a name stay within the automotive aftermarket for over fifty years–specializing in Big Three and off-road rear end applications the folks at Currie have spent their time optimizing rears for every road application out there.
“We are a family company founded in 1959 that prides itself on being a top quality builder of 9-inch Ford, 8-inch Ford, RockJock 70 and 60, Dana 60, Dana 44, 12-bolt GM, and 8.8-inch Ford rear ends.”
Founded in 1957 by Frank Currie, the business was passed on to his three sons Charlie, John, and Ray in 1984. Call us bias but one of the most amazing things about the culture of hot rodding and classic cars is the close knit atmosphere enriched by the aftermarket. Even the biggest names are still, at the end of the day, down-to-earth car guys running a big time operation with mom and pop attitudes.
The rear end that we’re spotlighting today is Currie’s crate/bolt-in rear end ideal for hot rods and kustoms. Part #: CE-UHR56INX is a 56-inch wide universal application hot rod rear end.
