Hundreds of millions of cars have been built and sold in America over the past century, and while many of them have met their end in a crusher, many old cars are still with us today. Some cars stay with their original owner, while others are passed along, restored, ruined, and restored again. And still others are parked and left, an “eventual” project that more often than not, never gets done. In cold, wet climates, this often means rust and rot will eat the car away before it ever gets rebuilt.
Unless you live in the arid Southwestern United States, that is. That is where we deduced that this YouTube video must be from. It is 3 minutes and 45 seconds of driving up and down row after of at least 2,000 classic American cars in neat lines. Can you spot any rare, valuable vehicles?
We’re sure there must be a few in this cornucopia of classic Detroit iron. It looks to us like an overwhelming number of these cars are classic Chevy’s, from pre-war sedans to 50’s Bel Air’s and 60’s Impalas. And it is nothing short of amazing how well preserved many of these cars look, sporting their original paint with little or no evidence of oxidization.
As far as rare vehicles go, we definitely saw more than a few woodie wagons, as well as some classic American muscle like Chevelles. And that is in addition to the other big wagons, trucks, and even some stuff straight out of the 1920’s. See what cool cars you can spot in this video, and let us know what you saw in the comments.
