There is no better way to utilize your hot rod than to drive it and that’s exactly what 100+ rodders are going to be doing with their pre-1949 rides in a couple weeks as the Goodguys RodFather Road Tour kicks off September 14th. Led by Goodguys founder Gary Meadors and Andy “The RodFather” Brizio, this one of a kind road trip to the 2nd WIX Filters Speedway Nationals is sure to be the experience of a lifetime for participants. We’ve already told you about all the planned stops on the over 3,000 mile road trip and now Route 2 Media has just released a teaser video for the trip. Check it out above.

The Goodguys RodFather Road Tour will be kicking off at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah on September 14th and will travel across the country to the WIX Filters Speedway Nationals at Indianapolis Motor Speedway September 21st through the 23rd. After the event, the tour will head back to Barstow, California for a total of two weeks on the road and over 3,600 miles traveled. Along the way, rodders will drive through 15 different states and visit over 25 hot rod hot spots.

Route 2 Media will be covering the entire trip with Chad Reynolds, bringing you blog and picture updates from each stop as well as a video recap of each day.
