When it comes to hot rod and custom culture, Mooneyes is one of the most recognizable companies both here in the States and over seas. That’s why so many rodders and custom enthusiasts flock to Mooneyes events, especially the annual Mooneyes Yokohama Hot Rod Show held in Yokohama, Japan. But everyday hot rod enthusiasts aren’t the only ones that attend this event. It also attracts some of the biggest names in the industry, including the Schley Brothers, Dale Snoke and Jeff Wright. Check out the teaser video for this year’s show above for a look at all the big-name attendees and special guests.
The Mooneyes Yokohama Hot Rod Show 2012 is scheduled for December 2nd and will feature live music, food, vendor booths, a pinstripe gathering, collectivities alley, a custom paint hub cap competition, and of course, hundreds of customs cars, motorcycles and hot rods. Like in years past, the event features will be highlighted by appearances from some of the United States’ most influential hot rod and custom bike builders and their latest creations.
Heading up this year’s list of heavy hitters are the Schley Brothers, Bill Schwimmer of the Der Kleiner Panzers Volkswagon Club, Rolland Sands Design, Evil Spirit Engineering, Power Plant Motorcycles, The Cycle Lodge, Noise Cycles, Snoke’s Metal Shed, Small City Cycles, and Black Tibetans.
The indoor show at the Pacifico Yokohama starts at 9 a.m. on December 2nd and goes until 5 p.m. If you’re looking for a fantastic hot rod and custom show to attend this winter and want to take a little scenic vacation as well, be sure to put this one on your calendar.
