As hot rod enthusiasts we usually start with a car that is a relatively blank slate and modify it from there. There are, however, other instances where we have the opportunity to buy something that is so completely wicked already, we don’t have to do anything but enjoy the masterpiece. The video above is a showcase of just one of those times.
HotRod Dirty’s Photography recently shared this video on Youtube to help promote the vehicle’s sale on eBay. This truck looks old but there really isn’t much about it that actually is old. It was fully rebuilt from the ground-up. Custom patina paint, a cam’d and rebuilt 355 small-block, disc front brakes and sitting on a slammed Chevrolet S-10 pick-up frame. The truck is rolling on a brand new set of 18” Ridler wheels, is said to be able to be driven anywhere and loves being at 70+ miles per hour. Not many of our classics can say that!
The interior is fully decked out as well. A new digital radio complete with Bluetooth, new carpet, seats and door panels and a custom center console all round it out. The truck was named “Southern Fried”, which seems fitting when you see it up against the rustic backgrounds and landscapes in the video. There is definitely interest in the truck; we can see that there have been 17 bids on it so far as of this writing, though the reserve has not been met yet.
Check out the eBay listing for more info on this awesome truck.
