Posted by Lou Castobile, we found this video of him at Corvette Mike Midwest in Burr Ridge, Illinois. What he found was a nice custom build: a pristine 1937 Ford Coupe Street Rod.
Professionally built by Roy Brizio Street Rods, this high quality build is immaculate from every angle. Shaved door handles, smoothed, and chopped, this Ford Coupe is silky smooth from front to back.
Painted in metallic Champagne Beige, this Ford Coupe looks flawless sitting on a custom fabricated tubular chassis. What’s more, every chassis weld accomplished on this Ford Coupe was grounded and smoothed.
Furthermore, the custom Kugel coil over stainless steel independent front suspension was either chromed or polished. We can’t say this Ford doesn’t belong in an all-Chevrolet lot, but many components of this vehicle come from a ZR1 Corvette.
The independent rear suspension is from a ZR1 Corvette as well as the four wheel disc brake system installed on the Ford Coupe. The most obvious components from the ZR1 Corvette that reside on this Ford Coupe are the polished wheels and six-speed manual transmission. A meticulous build, it looks like the team at Roy Brizio Street Rods aimed for perfection with this project.
A massive General Motors Performance Parts 502 cubic-inch Chevy crate engine that cranks out 450 horsepower and 550 lb.-ft. of torque powers this Ford Coupe. On the other hand, the interior is plush, with matching beige leather to keep the color continuity throughout the car.
Moreover, the Ford Coupe has Vintage air conditioning, power windows, Classic Instruments gauges, a Grant steering wheel, and an Alpine audio deck. Barely driven, this Ford Coupe only has an astounding 149 miles.
Strictly on display, this custom Ford Coupe would complement any hot rod owner’s collection. With a price tag of $99,990, would you be interested? Be sure to share your thoughts about the car or price below.
