Late last summer, Rod Authority got the chance to be a part of an outstanding moment when automotive artist Steve Stanford was recognized for his talents at the Petersen Automotive Museum. I, personally, have gotten the opportunity to talk with this amazing man on a few occasions and I always come away from the conversation speechless and inspired. It is truly amazing how such a humble man has achieved such a pure greatness in his craft. These days it seems that the dog eat dog world ends up taking you out but then there is Stanford, just loving his work and doing what he does.
Recently, Stanford was the subject of a biographical expose done up by the folks over at eGarage. The YouTube channel that eGarage maintains is loaded up with a massive amount of spotlights and features that cover the gamut of the automotive enthusiast wish list. The recent focus on Stanford and his amazing talent brought in some of the industry’s biggest names in aftermarket vehicle design. George Barris, Chip Foose and Pete Santini sat in front of the video camera and described their view of Stanford and what he puts into his renderings, paintings and art.
Stanford is a self-taught artist that has a passion for what he does. His art has been featured in countless media outlets and are highly regarded as some of the absolute best. Check out the video above to see what eGarage put together.
