Located near the coastal waters of Los Angeles, California, we are just over a month away from the 2015 Port Nationals Kustom Car, Truck, and Bobber Show. Set to include a car show, pin up model contest, runway fashion show, and live entertainment, the event looks to be a day of unfiltered, vintage kustom kulture.
Historically, the show will be held near the SS Lane Victory, a fully operational World War II Cargo Ship, restored and operated by a volunteer crew of the U.S. Merchant Marine Veterans of World War II. Visitors of the show will be welcome to visit the cargo ship as it will be open the same day as the Port Nationals Show.
For the kustom enthusiast in you, the event is for all ages and is set to include several pre-73 kustoms, roadsters, rat rods, trucks, bobbers, bar hoppers, and custom classics. That combined with pin ups and live 50s music and rockabilly will be sure to keep the kustom kulture vibe thriving during the one day show.
Open to the general public, we are sure there is something for everyone ranging from die hard gear heads to pin striping artists and people who simply love the look of nice cars and bikes. To complement the show, there will be several car clubs in attendance that include: Dead Sleds, Taildraggers, Fellas, Straight Pipes, Sentinels, Templarz, and several others.
With the support of numerous Southern California car clubs, the event looks to be a showdown of low and slow, all-custom fabricated goodness. Check out the Port Nationals Facebook page here to find out more information about the event. Don’t miss out on this one day kustom extravaganza!
