Participants in the 2011 Street Rod Nationals Plus will be able to get their rod weighed for free, courtesy of Ridetech. The company will be there with their display trailer and a set of InterComp Racing scales.

It’s about more than the weight, however. Setting up a coil-over suspension for a custom street rod requires solid knowledge of the available components and combinations in order to avoid the end result pitfalls of poor ride quality, mediocre performance and extra cost and downtime.

Anyone that brings their car or truck to the booth can drive on the scales and get a weight printout, along with recommendations for recommended coil over products and suitable spring rates. If you’re considering a coil over conversion for your ride, you’ll walk away with the hard work already done.

Located in in Jasper, IN, Ridetech maintains complete control over every aspect of design, quality and delivery of their products. Formerly known as Air Ride Technologies, the company has brought the same level of excellence to their coil over suspension products that they were known for in the air ride business.

The National Street Rod Association’s 42nd Annual Street Rod Nationals Plus event runs from August 4 through August 7 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville. RideTech will also have an indoor display, this year featuring the new TruTurn steering system, along with the Triple Adjustable coil-overs.
