Steele Rubber Products has been in the business of helping car buffs pull off their immaculate restorations since the mid 1960s. Their specialty is automotive weatherstripping and rubber parts for countless classic cars, trucks and rods. They also offer a variety of other high quality OEM and universal-fit body parts and accessories, ranging from windshields and doors to headlight gaskets and pedal pads — just about everything you could need to complete your show-floor worthy restoration.
For this year’s SEMA Show, the company’s Danny Agosta showed us a few new things they’re bringing to the table. The first is the addition of 1967-1970 Dodge A100 and A108 vent-window seals to their product line. Danny told us how these were designed directly after the originals and, according to him, are unlike any other on the market thanks to their level of quality and detail.
Like all of Steele Rubber’s seal products, they feature a high-strength soft rubber, and are made with brass for added structure and support – just as the originals were made. Steele Rubber will be selling them in kits with all the necessary components to re-seal and re-install your vent windows.
Along with these new seals, Agosta told us about the new custom printed catalogs. Each is tailored specifically to the customer and their vehicle, and exact to model and year. He told us that “they’re printed on demand, shipped the next day, and include all of Steele Rubber’s parts up to date — including any new products and price changes. The goal is to make it as easy as possible.”
As for the future, hesaid we can look forward to even more parts kits and developments that will continue to make restorations even easier.
