If you have been in the hot rod or custom car scene for very long, then you have probably heard of Billet Specialties. This performance automotive aftermarket company is probably best known for its stunning billet wheels that offer some of the most intricate designs in the industry. All of the company’s wheels and parts are second-to-none in the fit and finish department, and rumor has it, the quality control department is very meticulous when making sure parts are ready to go out the door. While known for wheels, this is not all the company has to offer. It makes everything from engine dress-up, body accessories, interior pieces, steering wheels, and even racing products. At this year’s SEMA Show, Billet Specialties introduced an affordable new accessory-drive system for the LS platform.
The Sport Trac serpentine system was designed to bring value, style, and quality to your engine compartment. The idea behind this system was to produce a quality part that was easy on the bank account, but would still look better than the OEM counterpart. Each bracket is powdercoated satin black, and the pulleys are hard-coat black anodized for superior dependability. There are two versions of the Sport Trac, one with A/C and one without. Both versions of this system include a 170 amp Power Master alternator, and a new Tuff Stuff Performance power steering pump with reservoir. If you opt for the system with air conditioning it will include a genuine Sanden SD-7 A/C compressor as well as the alternator and power-steering pump.
It’s nice to see that Billet Specialties has brought an affordable accessory drive to the aftermarket and fill a void. This system still offers made in the USA quality, but at a fraction of the cost of some of the others offered. Be sure and check out the entire Billet Specialties line at www.billetspecialties.com.
