Danchuk Tri-Five Nationals Is Now A Week-Long Extravaganza

Tri-Five

The Danchuk Tri-Five Nationals in Bowling Green, Kentucky, is an event that is dedicated to any Chevrolet built in 1955, 1956, and 1957. Sure, that does limit the car count. But, you’d never realize that limit once you get to the show. In fact, during the day, there are so many cars in attendance that no one wants to move for fear of losing their parking location.

If the three-day show seems like a condensed atmosphere, you’ll love this announcement. The 2018 event will see the first annual Danchuk Tri-Five Nationals Week. That means, if you have already made plans to attend, you will probably want to add a few days of vacation time. Participants will enjoy a full week of activities, and the Hilton Garden Inn (HGI), directly across from the Convention Center, will be ground zero for all of the off-track event activities.

The event kicks off on Sunday evening, August 5, with a get together at the HGI. You will receive all of your credentials, detailed maps, and an itinerary of the scheduled happenings.

Monday, there will be guided tours of Aviation Heritage Park, the Train and Vintage Rail Car Museum, and then a box lunch and tour of the National Corvette Museum. Tuesday, a caravan heads south to Nashville, where you will visit Antique Archeology (American Pickers store), Advanced Plating, and the restaurants and shops on Broadway. On your way back to Bowling Green, there will be a stop at Stacey David’s Gearz TV show production facilities.

After breakfast on Wednesday, it’s off to the National Corvette Museum Motorsport Park for a tour, laps around the track, and photo opportunities. After that, it’s North, to the Bourbon Trail and a tour of the Jim Beam Distillery. Wednesday evening, there will be an invitation-only party to open the American Tri-Five Association’s Heritage Spotlight event at the Convention Center.

When Thursday rolls around, the breakfast gathering will be joined by Doug Marion for autographs and a meet and greet. After that, a tour will head to historic Lost River Caves for a cool boat tour, and then to Holley’s facilities in Bowling Green. After enjoying Thursday’s activities at the Convention Center, there will be a parade to Beech Bend Raceway for the Thursday Night Under the Lights racing with special seating in trackside suites.

Friday and Saturday, will have special parking and a hospitality tent that will be the event headquarters. Each day we will have a cookout for our group at lunch time, and we will have the perfect spot to enjoy all of the activities of the Danchuk Tri-Five Nationals. Friday evening, will have VIP front row tables for the Phil Dirt and the Dozers concert at the Convention Center.

It is going to be a fantastic week. The cost of the activities mentioned in the schedule are included in the package price. This includes a double room at the Hilton Garden starting on Sunday, Aug 5th, checking out on Sunday, August 12th. Breakfast each morning is included. Two, special VIP admission tickets to the Tri-Five Nationals are also included. If you have already registered for the event you will be reimbursed that cost. The lunches that are mentioned in the itinerary are included. We will also have special discount coupons for area restaurants for evening meals.

Each package will also include two commemorative Inaugural Tri-Five Nationals Week jackets with each participants name and year of vehicle. The cost for the entire week of activities, hotel and jackets is $1,955 for two people. We have had to limit the number of packages to 50. With two folks per package that means that you will be part of a group of 100 folks that can say they were part of the Inaugural Tri-Five Nationals Week. Check out this link, or call the Nationals Week Hotline at (800) 676-3026 with any questions and details on how to sign up for the week.
