Event Alert: O'Reilly Auto Parts Street Machine Nationals!

This is it, it’s the end of summer. With that the leaves are beginning to turn color and the end of car show season is quickly approaching. Like every year, the end has come too quickly, but if you’re anything like us, you’ve still got a little gas in your tank to burn and want to hit at least one last show before things officially cool off for fall and winter.

There will be no shortage of big motors and blowers at this year's O'Reilly Auto Parts Street Machine Nationals!

This is your opportunity to end the season with a bang! If you’re anywhere nearby, plan on attending the O’Reilly Auto Parts Street Machine Nationals at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds in Springfield, Missouri, on Saturday September 23^rd.

This is going to be one awesome show, and a great way to end the season. Even if you’ve got to make a little bit of a drive to get out there, it’ll be worth the trek. Book a hotel, pitch a tent, do whatever you have to do and make a weekend out of it! Stay Friday through Sunda, just make plans to get there! There are plenty of attractions that make this event more than just a regular car show. There is going to be a burnout contest, cruising, a demo derby, giveaways, a pin-up contest, and so much more!

If you love our favorite kind of hybrid, something that can burn fuel and rubber at the same time, you'll love the burnout competition!

The time for pre-registration has already passed, but you can register on Friday the 22^nd between 2:00pm and 6:00pm. If you’ve pre-registered, you can pickup your credentials at this time on the day before. You can also register the day-of starting at 8:00am. The show itself starts at 9:00am for participants and spectators. They’re expecting thousands of street machines, hotrods, muscle cars, and trucks, and 20,000 spectators—so it’s going to be big.

In addition to the car show there will also be opportunities to meet Batman and pin striping legend Von Hot Rod. It’s designed to be a family-friendly event that everyone can enjoy, so bring everyone for a day full of fun and awesome rides.
