Known among other things for their amazing giveaway cars, the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association has outdone even itself this year with the build of the 2013-2014 “Tribute ‘32” Giveaway car. Recently debuted at the 2012 SEMA Show, this 1932 Ford coupe will be given away at the 2014 PPG Nationals as the ultimate prize for another awesome round of Goodguys events. But you don’t have to take our word for it. Just check out the amazing finished product above.
Built by Kindig-It Design, the ‘32 coupe is more than just a normal hot rod. Designed after Garry Meadors’ deuce tudor, this coupe represents the closest you’ll ever come to actually owning the official Goodguys logo car.
Designed with an all-steel body, stretched nose, 2 ½-inch chop, filled roof, forward-leaning grille, raised rear wheel wells, custom rollpan and floor panels, and Kindig-It’s constant radius door hinges, the Goodguys giveaway hot rod has everything that the logo car has and more.
Featuring a GM Performance Ramjet 350 engine with a custom intake from Arizona Speed & Marine, and a matching Hughes transmission, this classic hot rod will be right at home at any Goodguys show or cruising around town.
The car also features a quick-change rearend from Speedway Engineering, Wilwood disc brakes, and Billet Specialties wheels for optimal road-worthy performance.
Inside this special hot rod you’ll find even more enticing features, including Tea’s Design Posies styled front seats with a matching rear seat in light linen ultra leather, as well as custom one-off Goodguys edition gauges from Classic Instruments. All interior and trim work was taken care of by the more than capable hands of the JS Custom Interior’s staff in Salt Lake City, Utah.
To top it all off, the hot rod is finished off in PPG “Goodguys Yeller” with unique logo-style striping.
On display at most 2013 Goodguys events, she could be yours in 2014 just by being a Goodguys member or entering your vehicle in a 2013 Goodguys event. Not a bad deal for participation in one of the largest hot rod associations in the country. Be sure to check it out starting next year at your local Goodguys event.
