Break out the moonshine and throw on some Johnny Cash, because a hot rodder is having some good ol’ American fun – in Sweden. In a small rural town, one of our loyal fans, Robert Svedman, decided to take his Ford T-Bucket out for a little joy ride. In what appears to be a car show (judging by the canopies full of people and PA system) he began doing donuts in an empty parking lot.
Looking and sounding like a scene from Dukes of Hazzard the T-Bucket was spinning around in circles, being thrown sideways and leaving patches of rubber all over as if nothing else matters.
The T-Bucket is an orange 1923 Ford Model T that has been nicknamed Meanbunny. Judging from the video it looks like it’s powered by a small block motor with a tunnel ram intake manifold and lake pipes sticking out the side.
What impressed us the most was how much control the Svedman had while performing such an out of control stunt. White barrels were set up as cones throughout the parking lot and he was able to spin & drift around them with ease.
To us it’s refreshing to see T-Buckets actually driven (driven hard for that matter) instead of being polished and trailered to shows. We were told that he did this for a passenger, a young lady who won the opportunity to join him on his exhibition run, and we were told she had a blast! Well, who wouldn’t?
