In Lake Zurich, Illinois, you’ll find the epicenter of hot-rod suspension offerings. That’s where Heidts Automotive is based, and you can spend a day hanging out at the facility and having a good time, as the folks there will play host to some of the best vehicles in the Chicago area during its 2019 Open House and Car show.

This annual open house and car show is set to begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, at the company headquarters in Lake Zurich. This yearly gathering celebrates performance vehicles of all types, in a fun and friendly environment. Since admission is free and open to the public, we can’t think of a better way to spend the day with your hot rod.

“The Open House and Car Show is always one of the highlights of our year,” said Wallace Leyshon of Heidts. “While we’re usually hard at work designing and building, it’s nice to take a day to celebrate with our customers and enjoy all their great vehicles – especially those sporting Heidts performance components!”

You’ll be able to get up close and personal with Heidts’ stable of high-profile cars, including its 1968 and ’99 Chevrolet Camaros, a 1964-1/2 Ford Mustang, a ’68 Shelby tribute, and Mark G’s Black Betty OPTIMA race car.

Not only will the car show will include Stock, Modified, Resto-Mod, and Project show-classes, but Heidts will also offer free raffles and discounts. There will even be lunch for event participants.

Finally, there will be a midway that will include product displays of Heidts’ Hot Rod & Muscle Car Parts as well as Chris Alston Chassisworks and Chassis Engineering product lines. Local dealers such as Blackdog Speed Shop will also be on hand to answer questions and show off its own performance vehicles and race cars.
