In his early career, Mr. Weimer was a master machinist and engineer for Douglas Aircraft, and in 1978 founded Weimer Tool Co. specializing in custom industrial and commercial machinery. With a keen eye for classic automotive design, Mr. Weimer amassed a collection of 13 stunners now up for auction:
