Hot rodders mark your calendars for one of the most unique car shows of the season. Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 9th in Uptown Lexington, North Carolina, hundreds of refurbished classic rods from the ’50s ’60s, ’70s and ’80s will be dressed in some of the most impressive Halloween garb for the 3rd annual “Spooky Cruz” Hot Rod cruise-in.
Hosted by Lexington HOT ROD junkies, this free Halloween inspired car show offers participants a chance to step into a time machine that transports each back to the days when some of the hottest cruisers, like old school Volkswagen bugs, Chevrolet Bel Airs and Camaros would line the streets alongside Mom and Pop shops, with an added creepy twist.
Rod Authority will be on site for this spine-chilling cruise-in, which will also feature the Trimmers Trim Shop Hot Rod decorating contest for some of the finest Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, Antiques, Rat Rods, and Classic Cars in the state. This competition gives its owners the chance to show just how creepy and unique their rides really are and if this is anything like last year, the judges will have some rather tough choices to make.
So, what are you waiting for? Throw on your creepiest costume and get to the land of BBQ for a haunted cruise-in you and your family will never forget.
Stay tuned for all the updates.
