The 37th National Street Rod Association‘s Nationals East was held in York, Pennsylvania on June 2,3,4, of 2017. The coveted “Pros Pick” awards, sponsored by Classic Instruments, is presented at each NSRA event from sea to shining sea, west coast to east coast, and all points in between for 2017. One of the most sought after awards in the street rod community, the selection team picks the top five street rods from each event.

The award winning street rods from the National Street Rod Association’s Nationals East event featuring the Pro’s Picks, Outstanding Use of Color, and best Ford In A Ford awards.

Pro’s Pick

Here are the “Pro’s Pick” winners from the NSRA Nationals East held at the York Expo Center:

The National Street Rod Association is pleased to announce the selection of the “Pro’s Pick” winners at the Street Rod Nationals East held at the York Expo Center in York, Pennsylvania. Classic Instruments of Boyne City, Michigan is the sponsor of these most sought after awards.

The winners were:

Gary Corkell – Middletown, Delaward – 1941 Ford Pickup

David & Deana Thomas – West Chester, Pennsylvania – 1935 Chevrolet

Bob Buckley – Forest Hill, Maryland – 1932 Ford Coupe

Rick Talbot – Ridgeway, Virginia – 1955 Plymouth

Glenn Burkland – West Chester, Pennsylvania – 1940 Ford

Outstanding Use Of Color:

The National Street Rod Association announced the selection of an “Outstanding Use of Color” award given at the Street Rod Nationals East:

• Jeremy Zeigler from Manchester, Pennsylvania won with his beautiful two-tone 1954 Ford Pickup.
• Jason Troilo from Leesburg, Virginia won with his beautiful orange 1957 Chevrolet.

Ford In A Ford

The Ford Performance“Ford In A Ford” selection for the Street Rod Nationals East went to Mike Johnston from Livonia, New York with his beautiful 1935 Ford Coupe.

ISCA Pick

The ISCA award took center stage with their dual award selection at the event. The ISCA is made up of three different groups of people: Exhibitors, who show their vehicles and compete at ISCA-sanctioned indoor events; Judges, who judge the vehicles and determine where a vehicle places in its respective class, and Producer Members, who produce the indoor custom car shows.

ISCA was formed in 1963 to act as the sanctioning body for the competition at our shows. Its purpose is to oversee the competition at each event, supervise the judging staff, keep track of exhibitor points, and manage the series championship.

The ISCA and the NSRA selected two cars for the ISCA Pick at the NSRA Nationals East this year:

• A beautiful red 1955 Chevrolet Nomad owned by Arnold Warner from Walford, Maryland.
• A spectacular yellow 1936 Ford Sedan owned by Gary Dilley from Eagle Rock, Virginia.
