For many musclecar enthusiasts, finding the perfect balance between ride height and overall comfort can be a tricky endeavor. And if you are building a musclecar or street rod and want to keep it period-correct, you are often left with choosing a set of shocks that have little to no adjustability once they are installed.
QA1 has just released an exclusive line of shocks for the street rod market that now combines those classic looks with modern-day performance adjustability.
QA1 Hot Rod Series Features
- Smooth Body Shock with Optional Chrome Plated Dust Cover for Nostalgic Look
- 36 Adjustable Rebound Options with a Comfortable Compression Setting
- Chrome Plated Aluminum for Show Quality Appearance
- Low Profile Knob with Slot Style Adjuster
- Serviceable and Rebuildable by QA1 Authorized Service Centers
- 100% Dyno Tested and Serialized
- Made in the USA
The adjuster, which is located at the base of the shock, lets users switch the shock for any setup, weight, spring rate and driving comfort to fit your build needs.
To keep the ride as smooth as possible, the shocks include polyurethane bushings for bind-free operation. QA1’s three-step sealing system also eliminates seal drag, dirt intrusion, and prevents leaks, keeping you on the road as long as possible.
Like all of QA1’s aluminum shocks, the Hot Rod Series shocks are serviceable and rebuildable by QA1 authorized service centers and are 100% dyno tested and serialized before leaving QA1’s Lakeville, Minnesota facility.
The shocks are available with or without a dust cover and provide street rod fans the perfect balance of traditional looks with updated, modern performance. For more information on QA1’s new line of Hot Rod Series Shocks, click on the official website here.
