Harvey Richardson and the talented crew at Warson’s StreetWorks have apparently set an agenda of winning as many annual car show awards as possible. After winning back-to-back safety awards in the National Street Rod Association (NSRA), the hard-charging New Hampshire based company racked up the highly coveted “People’s Choice” award at the 2016 Goodguys Columbus show.
Starting with their 2014 NSRA safety award winning LED headlights that were designed to be easy to install, provided better lighting, and looked phenomenal, to the 2015 NSRA safety award winning LED micro billet third brake light that also looked right at home on any hot rod while providing superior brake lighting.
Watson’s seemed to have hot rod lighting wrapped up. Not willing to rest on their past achievements, the Watson’s StreetWorks team upped the ante in 2016 by releasing a set of fuzzy dice. Not your typical decretive fuzzy dice either, these Fuzz Buds are fuzzy dice exteriors loaded with bluetooth wireless technology that works with smart phones or other mobile devices to allow hands-free calling, navigation, or just playing the right music while you are cruising.
We reviewed the Fuzz Bud product when it was first released (Watson’s StreetWorks Releases Bluetooth Fuzzy Dice For Safety), and found these unique microphone and stereo equipped dice to be one of the most functional contemporary products to hit the market for hot rods. These work for cars under construction that normally don’t have access to things like GPS or even a radio in many cases. We’re happy to see that the Goodguys People’s Choice award validates what we already thought of this product. To the team at Watson’s StreetWorks: Well done and we can’t wait to see what you have for us next year!
